study, pond dipping, local history and canoeing. In
the Forest of dean there is an excellent safe lake,
'Mallard's
Pike'.

Cherry Orchard Farm is just a five minute walk from the famous Ostrich Inn in Newland, which is child-friendly and known throughout the realm for its superb food and wide range of real ales (there are usually eight on at any one time), its fine wines and spirits - not to mention Katherine's warm welcome and effusive hospitality!
Newland is the home to the Cathedral of the Forest with its famous miner's brass but also hosting various concerts from time to time of all musical genres. |
